"Is This Your Mousse/Moose?"

Sunday morning my styling mousse came up missing. I asked each one of the girls if they had used it and as usual no one admitted to taking it. So then I went around the house asking "Where's my mousse? Who's seen my mousse?"
Britten came to me with a card and a mischievious smile on his face asking "Is this the moose you're looking for?"

What Do I Do With My Sucker?

We were at Kylee's basketball game playing Dayton. Allen was nOOOOOt happy about being woken up from his nap and he was even less happy about having to stay in one spot. As a result he was throwing a very loud temper tantrum in the stroller. Very loud I say until a man nearby trying to help out and be friendly came over and asked Allen what was wrong. Allen shut up instantly and looked at his knees and nowhere else. Finally the man asks, "would you like a sucker?", blank stare, "Is it ok with mom if I get you a sucker?", blank stare. At this point Clayton pipes up, "I would like a sucker".

OK. We're getting suckers! Allen stared at his knees the whole time the man was gone. Allen stares at his knees evern after the man comes back and waves a fistfull of suckers in his face asking him which color he would like.

In the meantime, Clayton picks out his sucker and is happily unwrapping it. Allen, finally realizing that mom is not going to bail him out finally looks up with his Bruce Willis half smile on his face and takes a sucker.

OK, everyone is happy and Kylee and her team are playing one of the best games I've ever seen, we're winning and all is right with the world for the time being.

At this point Clayton (Allen is happily and quietly eating his sucker) decides he would like to get in on the fun of the game so he asks me, "What do I do with my sucker when I have to cwap?" I wonder why he would ask to go to the bathroom in such a manner? Where did he hear that from? Afterall we have never said we're going to the bathroom in such a manner, at least not that I have actually witnessed! So I ask him a bit bewildered, "You have to crap! Do you need to go to the bathroom?" His response, "NO!" "What Do I Do With My Sucker When I Have To C*L*A*P?

The Tech Deck party!

Britten is totally into the Tech Deck thing this year. Last year Bakugans and this year Tech Decks! What is a Tech Deck you ask? Well I had to ask the same thing. They are little miniature skate boards that you use with, yes, your fingers. They are skate boards that you manuever and do tricks and the whole nine yards with your fingers! Insane I know but the kids love them.
Britten really wanted his dads favorite cake for his birthday which is the German Chocolate cake with the German Chocolate frosting. Thanks to his gramma and her inventive ideas he got what he wanted! A skateboard cake with the German Chocolate frosting he desired! Thanks Gramma! ☺

He was very happy with his cake! Which makes me happy!

 Mamma's sweet handsome big boy!
Every year the girls get a princess crown on their birthdays, it's sort of became a tradition. Well, you can't just get a princess crown for the boys, so last year I started making them kings crowns and decorating them accordingly. This year his crown has skate boards on it.

We realize of course that boys just can't wear crowns all of the time because that is kind of not the thing as they get older so next year for B we will be graduating to hats.

Eight is Great, For I'm Being Baptized You See!

Our baby boy is growing up!!!! I can't even put into words the joy I felt seeing my little boy dressed in white ready to make his first commitment to Our Loving Heavenly Father in the waters of Baptism.

Britten was definately ready and excited to be baptized. I am soooo proud of my little boy. He is just amazing!

We had a triple Baptism with Brittens friend Kaden and MaKayla. It was an awesome evening! We had so many friends and family there to support us at this joyous event that we had to move into the chapel. It was AWESOME!!!!!

Britten with his Faith in God book and you can't see it but he also has is pinewood derby block!

Britten's cub scout leader and our friend Liz Polish with our extended family/friends Elle and Brandon Sorensen.

Elizabeth and Tiffany

Doren, Mark Hyde and Tyson

Ron Dunham

Heather and Tyson, more extended family/friends.

Allen was a very tired and cranky little boy. I'm soooo glad that he finally went to sleep. Zack carried Clayton out in a similiar fashion!!!!
I should have gotten the camera out sooner. I missed a lot of people who were here to support us and I missed a few other picturesque moments. Either way, the Baptism was wonderful! I'm sooo proud of my little man and his choice to be baptized. I'm proud of my family and I love them all.

Madison was nominated by her teacher as The Student of the Quarter. You have to have good citizenship skills, good grades and a good work ethic to be nominated. It's a huge honor. I'm soooo proud of you MadN.
Doesn't she look so cool and confident!

A Puppy and a What? and A What?

The thing about being 18 is you can make your own choices even when you know your parents would like you to make a different choice. I hope that all of my children know that even when they make choices that we're not real happy about them making, we still love them. We love you Each and Every Day no matter WHAT!
Minnie with her puppy Dyln

A few months after Minnie moved out she calls up and asks me if she can get a puppy. I must say it felt good to say what I said, and yes, I knew what she was getting at. I said "Sure, you don't live at my house, you can do whatever you want." She then asks, well, If I got a puppy could I keep it at your house. Myles response was "If you keep a dog at my house then that makes it my dog and I don't want another dog." Needless to say , she got a puppy, named it Dyln and kept it at HER house!
At this same time, she came into the house and I saw some muck on her face so I tell her, "you have dirt on your face." She says no I don't. So I say, "yeah, right there above your lip, theres a big spot of dirt." Now keep in mind I'm in need of new glasses. So she says, no, thats not dirt. Now I get up and take a closer look and I see 'a piercing'! I must say, I'd prefer that she not have it, but she still looks super cute. Even with a hole in her face.
I know I know, I post waaaaaaayy too many pictures, but they're all so gorgeous, how can I choose just one?
Well, to add to this story which began November 14th, in January she shows up with, yes, a tatoo! It's not completely pointless though. It does state that she is a Type 1 diabetic and it has the medical cross emblem. Kids kids kids! This happened in January. I found out at Allen's birthday party.

It was given to her as a gift. Honestly, I can think of better gifts! ☺
